Standalone test case

Test cases that are not based on product specification are called standalone test cases. Test cases can also be defined independent of any product specification, such as when certain aspects of the product behavior are obvious or are common user experience scenarios that do not need to be included in the product specification.

Standalone test cases can be organized into groups, called test suites. Test suites make it easy to include related standalone test cases in testing activities.

The test case feature is available to users with test coverage permissions for the project. Project owners can manage the permissions of project members.
