Version of test case linked to a requirement version

When a new version of a requirement is derived, linked test cases of the previous version do not carry on to the new requirement version. Test cases will need to be added to the newly derived requirement version, if needed.

To do this, click test-coverage.svg in the requirement's right side vertical menu. You can either choose link-test-case.svg Link Test Case or + New Test Case. Test cases available will be listed on the left side of the pop-up. Click on the test case(s), and then click Add to link them to the requirement.

Note, test cases which are added to a test suite cannot also be linked to a requirement. Therefore, when linking test cases to a requirement, those which are already part of a test suite will not appear in the list of available test cases to add. In a build, you will be able to add requirements and test suites.

Users will need to have project permissions to view and edit in both Requirements and Test Coverage to perform this action. Depending on the settings of the user's project permissions, they may be able to view all the project requirements and all test coverage items, or just a subset of each.
