Access to the requirement features are based on a user's permissions, which can be modified by a Project Owner in the Members tab under a project's primary Info tab.
Below is an outline of the permissions available for the requirements module:
- General requirements module access
- A user with at least view access to the requirements module will have the Requirements tab available.
- View Access
- Private
- User can view requirements for which they are the owner/contributor/reviewer
- User Organization
- User can view requirements for which they are the owner/contributor/reviewer
- User can view requirements created by members of their organization
- Host and User Organization
- User can view requirements for which they are the owner/contributor/reviewer
- User can view requirements created by members of their organization
- User can view requirements created by members of the host organization
- Public
- User can view all requirements added to the project
- Private
- Edit Access
- User can create requirements, edit the root requirement details
- Requirement version owners can derive new requirement versions
- Requirement version owners and contributors can add/remove contributors and reviewers
- Delete Access
- User can delete requirements (restrictions apply to which requirements can be deleted)
