Access to task features is based on a user's permissions, which can be modified by a Project Owner in the Members tab under a project's primary Info tab.
Below is an outline of permissions in the task module:
- General tasks module access
- A user with at least view access to the tasks module will have the Tasks tab available
- View Access
- Private
- User can view tasks for which they are the reporter/assignee/watcher
- User Organization
- User can view tasks for which they are the reporter/assignee/watcher
- User can view tasks created by members of their organization
- Host and User Organization
- User can view tasks for which they are the reporter/assignee/watcher
- User can view tasks created by members of their organization
- User can view tasks created by members of the host organization
- Public
- User can view all tasks added to the project
- Private
- Edit Access
- User can create tasks and subtasks
- User can edit base attributes and related entities of tasks
- User can import tasks with a CSV file
- Delete Access
- User can delete tasks (restrictions apply to which tasks can be deleted)
