Permissions in the test coverage module

Access to test coverage features s is based on a user's permissions, which can be modified by a Project Owner in the Members tab under a project's primary Info tab. 

 

Below is an outline of permissions in the test coverage module: 

  • General test coverage access
    • A user with any level of view access to the test coverage module will have the Test Coverage tab available
  • View - Private
    • User can view test coverage modules for which the user is the creator or owner
    • For builds, the user will be able to view the entities for which the user is the owner
  • View - User Organization
    • User can view test coverage modules for which the user or members of their organization are creators or owners
    • For builds, the user will be able to view the entities for which the user or members of their organization are owners
  • View - Host and User Organization
    • User can view test coverage modules for which the user, members of their organization, or members of the host organization are creators or owners
    • For builds, the user will be able to view the entities for which the user, members of their organization, or members of the host organization are owners 
  • View -  Public
    • User can view all test coverage modules added to the project
  • Edit 
    • User can create and edit test coverage module entities for which they have access
    • User can edit the root requirement details
    • Requirement version owners can derive new requirement versions
    • Requirement version owners and contributors can add/remove contributors and reviewers
  • Delete
    • User can delete test coverage items for which they have access (restrictions apply to which test coverage items can be deleted)
