To disable two step authentication / two factor authentication (2FA), click on you user avatar in the top right corner and select My Profile in the dropdown. In the section labeled, Two Step Authentication, there will be a green toggle button
next to your authentication method. Click the toggle to disable.
With an email authentication step, a pop up will appear to confirm you would like to deactivate. Click Confirm to continue and a one time password (OTP) will be sent to the email on the account. Enter the OTP received in your email and click Deactivate. An email will be sent as a notification that two step authentication has been turned off.
With the authentication app, a pop up will appear to confirm you would like to deactivate. Click Confirm to continue and enter in the 6 digit code shown on the authenticator app. After the code has been verified, click Deactivate. An email will be sent as a notification that two step authentication has been turned off.
Contact your system Admin if you have any issues with two step authentication.
