Co-owners can be added by a current requirement owner to the latest requirement version in draft status. In the requirement detail's window, click on the Add button and select Co-Owners from the dropdown. Select the user(s) to include as co-owners and then click Add to finalize. Co-owners can not be added to requirement versions that are not in draft status.
A user who is requirement co-owner can add/remove contributors/reviewers, change the owner, change the status of version (except if in final status), edit other requirement related fields (i.e. title, priority, type, estimate), edit the version description when in draft status.
A user that is added as a co-owner cannot be added as a contributor or reviewer. If a user does not appear in the list of available users to add as a co-owner, please check the following:
- User to be added as a co-owner has view and edit permissions in the requirements module
- User to be added as a co-owner is already the existing requirement owner
- User to be added as a co-owner is already a member to the project
- User adding a co-owner has permissions to view the appropriate set of users
When the requirement owner is changed, the existing owner will automatically be added as a co-owner. If an existing contributor or reviewer is added as a co-owner, they will be removed from that previous role and added as a co-owner.
Users will need to have project permissions to view and edit the requirement to perform this action. Depending on the settings of the user's project permissions, they may be able to view all the project requirements or just a subset of them. The same is true for viewing the list of project members to add as the project owner.
