View default requirement types or create/edit custom requirement types

To view default system requirements types or create/edit custom types, click on the settings.svg Settings icon in the main left vertical menu panel. Within the Settings screen, click on type.svg Types in the left column and click on the Requirement secondary menu. 

 

To add a new type, click on the New Type button. 

 

To edit a type, click on the vertical three dot menu menu-vertical.svgfor the specific type and click edit.svgEdit. Default system statuses will not have the menu icon nor the option to edit. 

 

Fields that are included for custom types:

  • Name. The name of a custom type. This field may be updated if the custom type has not been used in a project yet
  • Map To. A custom status must be mapped to a default system type. This may be edited if the custom type has not been used in a project yet
  • Projects. The custom task or bug status may be added to multiple projects. Projects listed will be those for which the logged in user is a project owner
