Viewing custom attributes in a project and creating custom attributes

Custom attributes may be included or excluded in a project, and custom attributes may be created if there is a need for more fields in a module than provided by the system. They can be used to track specific tags of information for Xebrio objects and be used as filters. Custom attributes can be used in selected modules like Tasks, Bugs and Requirements.

To view the custom attributes included in the project, navigate to the project settings menu and then to the Custom Attributes secondary menu. In this window, click on the Included in Project button to view all the custom attributes included in a project. To remove a custom attribute from a project, uncheck the box for that custom attribute. Project owners and those with permissions to configure project settings will have access to the project's Settings tab.

Click on the Excluded from Project button to view the custom attributes excluded from the project. To include them in a project, check the box for that custom attribute.

To create a custom attribute, navigate to the system's settings.svgSettings menu located in the left main vertical panel. Navigate to the custom-attributes.svg Custom Attributes secondary menu and click on New Custom Attribute to begin creating a new attribute. A custom attribute can be of different types such as number, string, boolean, multiple choice, or date to allow users to store and track needed information.
